Repair Risks
Customer understands that electronic repairs are unpredictable. With this being said, your device may be beyond repair or may be permanently damaged during repair and be rendered useless. Components deteriorate over time and can fail without warning especially on liquid damage devices where components can short circuit, oxidize, corrode and rust either during or over time. Customer understands such risk and will not hold prympc.com, prympc, prymcomputerz llc responsible in any way and understands the risk of getting device repaired or worked on.
Back Glass Replacements
There is no warranty on Black glass replacements. Black Glass replacements carry the same repair risk stated on this service policy above. While we do an exceptional job there is always a risk. Back glass are so unpredictable and once the job is completed that is it. There is no warranty on glass replacements. Once glass has been replaced and the device leaves the shop, the device and glass care is your (The Customers) responsibility. There is no way we can prove that the glass broke on its own once it leaves the shop as there are so many variables that can happen to cause a broken back glass. As we try our best to be transparent and continue to support our customers, we will do what we can to assist you in your situation.
Phones Tablets and screens
Repairs on devices with glued-on screens such as iPads involve prying the screen to access internal components. Screens are very delicate and can crack or break during the prying process. We are experienced and the risk of screen breaking is minimal, but glass can break and risks do exist. Customers understands the risk of removing glass and its risks and follows the repair risk policy above as well.
Apple/Android Devices Touch ID Face ID Fingerprint
Touch id / Face id on apple devices may fail during repair and deemed unusable. Although this is not common, it can happen depending on the device condition. Customer understands this risk and agrees with our policy and the Repair Risks Clause/Policy Statement above.
Laptops or AIO
Integrated GPU on laptops and AIO computers can fail without warning especially on older devices such as 2011 Macbooks/iMacs. HP, Dell, Toshiba, and other devices with known GPU problems of any year make and model.
Estimates
While we try to be as thorough and do our best with all estimates, we do not guarantee that our estimate is all-inclusive and final. Often, it is very difficult or impossible to identify every problem affecting a device until some work is performed. Our estimates may evolve or change during the course of servicing your device. If we need to update the estimate, we will let you know as soon as possible before we proceed any further. All changes MUST be approved by you before we move on with any work. Our initial estimate will always remain valid within the scope of the services it was originally attached to, though we may advise you that the original service may have become unnecessary or unlikely to resolve the issue.
Repair Attempt Services Fee
We charge a repair attempt fee all devices that involve motherboard repairs, data recovery or devices that had prior repair attempts. If repair is unsuccessful or data recovery is not possible, or the device was previously worked on before it arrived at our shop you will be charged a repair attempt fee ranging from $40-$100 to cover the time spent working on your device and the parts used to perform repair attempt unless otherwise stated in documentation provided by prympc.com/ Prym Computerz LLC. If your device needs to be shipped to us, customer assumes cost of shipping and we will cover return shipping or local delivery. Refunds are only sent out after repair attempt fee and return shipping is calculated and deducted from price.
Limited Shop Warranty
Warranty is only for manufacture defects and marksmanship. Customer will inspect device before leaving shop to assure device is fully functioning and requires customers signature or initials at time of pick up. If the device malfunctions after it leaves the shop we will inspect and determine if its due to original repair or new issue. This will require new diagnostics, invoice and billing.
Billing and Invoicing Paperless
All invoices will be paperless and you will only have a digital copy. If you would like a paper printed copy of your receipt, you must request for such copy. This is to do our best to preserve paper consumption.
Payments, Non-Payments, Late Fees and Loss of Your Device
All payments are required before device is able to be picked up. All payments are to be made in a timely manner and with minimal delay. From the date of the invoice or job completion (weather it is a Fix or NoFix), you will have 5 business days to pay your invoice and you will receive a notice. After 10 days of non-payment you will receive a late payment charge of $35.99 and will begin to incur storge charge of $5 dollars per day. After 15 days of non-payment your device and invoice go into default and your device will become the property of PrymPc.Com - prympc - prymcomputerz.llc to be sold to recover loss and offset delinquent accounts. If we still have your device and have not sold it, you are able to pick up your device if you pay all charges incurred. Security Deposits On Repairs
While we strive to get all the parts on hand to assist every customers needs, sometimes we will need to special order items that are not as common or that we just do not carry in stock. These repairs will require a security deposit to be posted or paid for before any items are ordered for your device. This will unsure that we are not ordering unnecessary items as the customer could change their mind and leave us with the bill. Please be aware that in most cases these items are non refundable and cannot be returned. If you give a deposit on the repair and later decide you do not want the repair done, your security deposit is forfeit and nonrefundable. This is both to protect the customer and the business. You will be able to pick up your device without any repairs done due to cancellation of repair on special order non refundable items. Paid Repairs and Pick Ups
It is required to pick up your repaired device in a timely manner. Once your device is repaired and you have paid your invoice, you will get a reminder to pick up your device and 15 days. After 15 Days you will incur a $5 dollar charge a day until the 30th day. On the 30th day of non-pick up or communication, your device will be considered abandoned and become the property of prympc.com, prympc - prymcomputerz llc.
